KöR Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening can often prove to be a challenging, troublesome, and uncertain process. Both saliva and sulcular fluid contain substantial quantities of the antioxidant enzyme peroxidase, which can swiftly neutralize peroxide in the gel. Even a minor amount of contamination by saliva can render the whitening gel ineffective upon contact.
KöR whitening KöR-Seal™ trays have been purposefully designed to create a seal that keeps saliva and sulcular fluid out of the whitening trays. When combined with KöR whitening gels, these trays offer a remarkable 6 to 10 hours of whitening activity, in contrast to the typical 25-35 minutes seen with other systems.
The end result is a comprehensive removal of debris from both interprismatic spaces (between enamel prisms) and intraprismatic spaces (within enamel prisms) and intracrystalline spaces, restoring the enamel to its youthful ability to whiten quickly and thoroughly.
